San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Austin, Miami, Chicago and Baltimore are also listed in the top 25. This on top of mandatory furlough days for 13,000 air traffic controllers, resulting in delays of up to three hours at some airports, according to the Los Angeles Times. In a report by the New York Times, the F.A.A. says furloughs delayed more than 1,200 flights on the first Monday after they went into effect and it doesn't seem likely that traveling is going to get easier anytime soon.
